This allows for remote monitoring of the lift’s status in real time with incidents being automatically detected. It also allows certain remote maintenance work to be carried out. This makes maintaining the lift much easier, as well as optimizing its efficiency, safety and service life.

Connect lifts with other systems through the internet for the benefit of people. The progress made in the area of telecommunications has meant the traditional analogue phone is being replaced by a single digital line, which allows both voice audio and data to be sent, meaning the lift can send and receive information. These lifts are thus able to handle M2M (machine 2 machine) protocols, allowing them to connect to the IoT (Internet of Things) and meaning machines are able to communicate between themselves using the internet. This is used to improve lift maintenance protocols and systems.

For older MP lifts, we have add-on connectivity equipment, which allows them to be turned into internet-connected lifts.
