CONTROLLER
This is the brain of these lifts, a digital internet-connected controller, considered to be one of the best on the market. Use and status information is sent via the lift’s phone line, allowing remote maintenance and repair work to be carried out.
MP CONNECTIVITY ADD-ON EQUIPMENT
For older lifts which do not have an MP ecoGO digital controller, our add-on connectivity equipment means your lift will be able to connect to the internet to send and receive data. This equipment is compatible with MP lifts, as well as some other lifts from other brands.

PLATFORM
We have created a cloud-based platform, which allows our lifts to communicate with the technical team. It is able to process the data sent by each lift and make it accessible. Moreover, it allows for remote repair and maintenance work, meaning possible incidents can be foreseen and the service life of the lift improved.

Nevertheless, in the future, this technology looks set to bring about a real disruption and revolution in the world of lifts through new solutions.
Nothing in particular. If the building can have a lift installed, then it can have a connected lift. The current technology and techniques used for installing lifts mean this is possible in the vast majority cases.
Depending on the brand of the lift, the manufacturer may have add-on connectivity equipment to turn your lift into a connected lift.MP has this kind of equipment, which is compatible with all our MP lifts, as well as some other ones from other brands.
The lift and the maintenance company are able to communicate directly with one another. This allows for remote monitoring of the lift’s status in real time with incidents being automatically detected. It also allows certain remote maintenance work to be carried out. This makes maintaining the lift much easier, as well as optimizing its efficiency, safety and service life.
Connect lifts with other systems through the internet for the benefit of people. The progress made in the area of telecommunications has meant the traditional analogue phone is being replaced by a single digital line, which allows both voice audio and data to be sent, meaning the lift can send and receive information. These lifts are thus able to handle M2M (machine 2 machine) protocols, allowing them to connect to the IoT (Internet of Things) and meaning machines are able to communicate between themselves using the internet. This is used to improve lift maintenance protocols and systems.
This technology is not particularly expensive, and all it requires is an active phone line. MP includes everything necessary for connected lift technology to be installed in its lifts. For older MP lifts, we have add-on connectivity equipment, which allows them to be turned into internet-connected lifts.
None at all as the elevator connects to the internet using the phone line it is required to have.
The IoT (Internet of Things) is the way in which the internet is used for machines to communicate with each other (M2M). This kind of technology is used for all kinds of daily things, an example of which are lifts. A connected lift can communicate with its maintenance service or spare part supplier, as well as receive information on the time of day so it reduces the noise it makes, amongst many other things. The IoT is opening up a whole host of possibilities for the running and maintenance of lifts.
Apart from being able to carry out remote monitoring of the elevator’s status 24 hours a day, as well as foresee possible incidents, our technology allows us to be connected to your needs and those of your elevator in order to offer customized contract.
