The Board of Directors of MP has approved the appointment of Rafael Ruiz Nieto as the new CEO of MP Lifts, effective from 27 January 2026, as part of a long-planned succession process designed to ensure an orderly generational transition and the continuity of the company’s strategic plan.
Rafael Ruiz Nieto, who has been with MP since 1999 and has served as Deputy Managing Director until now, assumes full executive responsibility with the aim of driving a new phase of profitable growth, guided by the values that define the organisation: safety, innovation, closeness, integrity and excellence.
The current CEO, Eugenio Barroso, will remain connected to the company in a non-executive role, focused on institutional support, knowledge transfer and corporate representation, facilitating a gradual transition aligned with the group’s future.
MP Lifts is an industrial, technological and services company specialising in elevation solutions, with revenues exceeding €178 million, more than 1,200 employees, and operations in over 100 countries.
