MP Lifts introduces the new MP GO 200x and MP Flex 200 models at Interlift, the major international lift trade fair
MP Lifts has presented the new MP GO 200x and MP Flex 200 models at Interlift, the world’s leading trade fair for the lift sector, held in Nuremberg (Germany). This time, the company attended the international event under the slogan “Connected to you” with a firm commitment to connectivity, both digital and human, combining its values of proximity and innovation.
At the event the company also presented the MP Logix 40 intelligent control system with no cabinet, as well as new additions to its online spare parts and solutions store, MP SERVICENTER, and its range of connected lifts.
In addition, new designs have been showcased in its car catalogue, improvements have been made to its MP Deby configurator, and its commitment to the environment has been reinforced with new certifications.
New MP GO 200x and MP Flex 200 lifts
MP GO 200x: MP’s new machine roomless and no control cabinet solution
One of MP’s main launches is the new MP GO 200x lift, a machine roomless solution that also eliminates the need for a controller cabinet. This range offers faster installation and minimal disruption to building work, while improving travel comfort, noise levels and electrical safety.
Among other advantages, it includes the MP Logix 40 intelligent cabinet-free controller, which is built into the lift door. Thus, maintenance is easier, it is digitally native and equipped with cutting-edge cybersecurity for remote connectivity. It also reduces the carbon footprint thanks to its lower weight and state-of-the-art electronics (Class A, according to ISO 25745-2).
MP Flex 200: Greater comfort, more space for existing buildings
Among the new features presented by the company, the MP Flex 200 model also stands out, with larger cars thanks to the new traction system, which is more efficient and compact. This brings higher comfort and better use of space. The more efficient mechanics feature a 50% smaller traction pulley. All this makes the whole unit lighter and easier to install. Moreover, the MP Flex 200x version, which integrates the new MP Logix 40 controller, will soon be available.
News at MP SERVICENTER and connected lifts
MP has also renewed the services available in its online shop, MP SERVICEnter, from browsing to delivery. It now offers a wider range of components in the catalogue and multi-brand solutions to facilitate the maintenance and modernisation of the entire lift fleet. Available 24/7, with 24-hour delivery, it has a more intuitive, faster and simpler interface as well as a search engine, backed up by personalised attention and support from professionals.
It also offers MP’s updated range of modernisation solutions, with new capacities and developments.
Connected lifts: the added value of the new MP display
In line with MP Lifts’ firm commitment to the IoL (Internet of Lifts) ecosystem – it pioneered the development of a platform for connected lifts in 2009, with a commercial launch in 2015 – the company has now reinforced this service with the new TFT-100E display.
This is a value-added service allowing additional multimedia content to be offered, such as news, weather and sports information, as well as entertainment videos. Messages can also be posted for the building’s residents and advertising and customised content can be included, ideal for hotels and shopping centres, for example
New MP CARevolution cars and a more powerful MP Deby configurator
At the international event, MP Lifts also introduced new car models integrating seamlessly into the new lifts, thus facilitating and shortening installation times. Among them, the New Supra range stands out, with an EN 81-71 category 2 vandal-proof version and a reinforced version with continuous anti-vibration panels.
Likewise, the New Style range, perfect for modernisations, allows for periodic renovations of the car’s decoration with panels that can be removed from the inside.
The company has announced that its online configurator, MP Deby, which already includes the MP GO model, will soon be enhanced with the addition of the MP Flex range to the configuration options. This means that it will offer the models that account for the highest volume of orders, including automatic plans. In addition, it now includes orders and quotations for the rest of the range.
In terms of MP’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its products and services, the company highlighted the international EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification for the MP GO lift range.

MP Lifts promotes the digital development at Interlift, the largest international trade fair for the lift industry
As of today, MP Lifts is participating in the world’s largest trade fair for the lift sector, Interlift 2023, in Augsburg (Germany), with a strong commitment to digital development in design, manufacture, maintenance and modernisation of lifts under the motto ‘All in One Partner’.
The company, now consolidated as the seventh largest operator of the sector in Europe, presents all the news related to its IoL (Internet of Lifts) ecosystem of connected lifts for remote connection between lifts, technicians and users.
This technology, providing detailed information on elevators, allows technicians to remotely perform all kinds of actions and opens the door to new functions for owners and users, who can monitor the service level of their lifts. Furthermore, they get access to information about ongoing issues, fault logs, alarms and test call errors, as well as availability and traffic statistics.
MP Lifts was a pioneer in developing a platform for connected lifts in 2009. It was commercially deployed in 2015 and now, in 2023, the company is releasing a new architecture, more flexible, and a new website, with responsive technology, more user-friendly and with further information.
Another company’s new product on exhibition at this international meeting is MP Deby, an online configurator that allows users to design and quote their own lift immediately, with the desired aesthetics and to configure it à la carte. It also makes to get lift plans, including BIM format, quotations, to shorten lead times and improve the service quality, since it is fully integrated with the manufacturing processes.
Lifts modernisation
The European lift fleet is more than 6.6 million units and 50% of this figure is estimated to be more than 30 years old. EU policies -promoting the circular economy, improving energy efficiency, increasing safety, improving accessibility…- are encouraging modernisation, MP has therefore created a new department specifically for this market: ELO2.
At this week’s international trade fair, the company is presenting its wide range of components for modernisation, as well as new complete solutions in the form of kits for the modernising electric lifts with a machine rooms machine roomless and hydraulic lifts. Also, the developments related to the MP ecoGO controller, with its own design, frequency inverter and manufacturing process, which can now control most of the machines in the existing lift fleet, including those of multinational manufacturers.
In terms of new features for cars, the company is presenting the NEW VILITER car, which allows a quick installation by a single person from the inside, saving 4 hours assembly time. This new model is more comfortable (noise is reduced by 1 to 2 dB inside), and more eco-efficient by reducing its weight in 5%.

The Global Elevator Exhibition of Milan publishes an interview with Rafael Foncueva, Product Manager at MP Lifts.
What role will smart lifts play for the IoT ecosystem in building smart buildings and cities? thanks to which technologies and solutions?
“Elevators – explains Foncueva – like other electronic or electromechanical devices designed to improve people’s lives, depend on the Internet of Things. They are facilitating the creation of specific spaces and offering new functions.
The sphere of influence of the elevator includes residents of the building, technicians, owners or managers of the building and all the other people who occasionally use the service.
At the moment, the most developed services are aimed at elevator technicians, with the possibility to make use of monitoring systems with immediate alerts in case of failure, remote control and diagnostic tools, remote configuration services and even firmware updates of electronic equipment.
On the other hand, user services are less developed, although it is common to find screens in lifts offering a variety of information, as well as systems to call the lift from a mobile phone.
In the coming years, we will probably see the elevator as the core of IoT within the residential building, with the ability to provide services not only related to the elevator itself, but also to other devices in the building, such as entrance, garage, doors, air conditioning and lighting.
The connection to the entire network of elevators will provide valuable information for improving products and services, as well as establishing quality models based on comparative targets.
All these services are based on connecting the elevator to the Internet, either via the building’s Ethernet network or its own communication line. In Europe, where an emergency telephone is required by legislation, the phone line of the elevator can also be used as a data channel.
Nowadays the most widely used communication technology is 4G. Nevertheless, a widespread availability of 5G, with its much greater transmission capacity, will undoubtedly enable the development of new functions or a significant improvement of the existing ones”.
MP Lifts in Interlift 2019 in Germany
One year later, MP participated in the Interlift trade fair, the most important event in the lift sector for distribution, which took place October 15 to 18 in Augsburg, Germany.
The trade show was a success, with more than 20,000 visitors and 577 exhibiting companies from 48 countries, spread over 46,500 m2.
MP was present with a 286 m2 booth located in Hall 5. Due to the large number of visits that we received in the previous edition, this year we decided to take a step forward and expand in size in order to receive and better serve all our existing and potential clients.
The booth had two areas separated by a red walkway, one was reserved for a work and product demonstration area, and the other was to strengthen the relationship with the client in a more relaxed space.
These are the products, services and tools that were presented:

-The ecoGO smart maneuver, in its version for pits and confined spaces, under the EN81-21 standard with the most advanced SAB II safety system, which is the evolved version of its predecessor SAB I.
-In this same space, we emphasized hollow shaft security for the installer and maintainer with a 360º demonstration video (with glasses)
-Last innovations applied to the MPGO! Evolution Model, Gearless lift without a machine room, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the birth of its first version.
Services and tools that were displayed on work tables with interactive screens:
–Advances of the MP sigma4lifts platform for the connected lift, which combined with ecoGO opens up a world of possibilities in remote and predictive maintenance. It was displayed on a table with an interactive screen.
-Demo of the new configurator lift, more intuitive, simple and advanced that will replace the current Helpmate.
–New Distribution web page, more modern, intuitive and with new content of value for the lift operator.
-Updates of developments and improvements applied to our online store “MP SERVICenter”
-MP the smart choice for the lift operator.
Finally, the Smartroom, a space for co-design and information exchange on ongoing projects. A space to share the vision of the future and identify vectors of change, in which we have turned our clients into protagonists of our action plan.
The stand was very well attended, having the opportunity to exchange impressions with lift companies from around the world and strengthen the relationship with our current customers. We would like to thank the latter for their loyalty and ongoing support.

Russian lift Week 2019
Once again our Ambientum cabin, which decoration placed you in the center of the Red Square, was very popular and highly photographed.
Other year more, MP has been at Russian Lift Week held from June 26th to 28th at the VDNH exhibition centre in Moscow.
It is a key event for the lift industry in Russia and CIS (Community of Independent States). 179 exhibitors from 18 countries and more than 5,500 visitors from 36 countries. Our stand’s design and location were highly valued by all visitors. Once again our Ambientum cabin, which decoration placed you in the center of the Red Square, was very popular and highly photographed.
Throughout the festival we were visited by virtually all MP distributors from different regions of Russia and CIS countries and made new contacts, as well as finding other possible business opportunities in the area, all in a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

First International Lift Exhibition in Athens, Greece
From May 10 to 12 the Ascen.Tec 2019 lift sector fair was held in the city of Athens, after more than ten years. At the same time, we attended jointly with our official distributor for Greece, the company ELEVATOR PROGRESS.
It was a resounding success, we received more than a hundred visits from the elevator and construction sector.
In the stand we showed the new manoeuvre MP ecoGO, along with a maGO machine and a FUSION Control Operating Panel (COP) as a presentation of the new range of MP GO! elevators, the interest in this product was spectacular because the general idea was that MP had lost its position in the Greek market. All the installation companies and former clients who visited us were pleasantly surprised and ready to start new business relationships with us.
I want to thank the entire lift PROGRESS team and especially its Manager Mr. Apostolis Kafkias for the effort made and the trust placed in us.

Exhibition Khartoum 2019
At the beginning of each year, the International Fair of Khartoum, an economic, investment and commercial event, takes place next to the bank of the Nile.
It is a public trade fair in which a wide range of products, services and investment opportunities are offered.
MP Lifts participated in the EU Delegation Stand in Khartoum in the “corner” specifically for Spanish companies.
Other events that took place during the fair
– Launch of the EU-Sudan Chamber of Commerce: At the Fair, the DUE organized a great reception for the launch of the EU-Sudan Chamber of Commerce. Numerous Sudanese companies were also invited and had an important institutional presence.
– Reception in the Residence of the Ambassador of Spain: an event was organized in the residence of the Ambassador of Spain, in which interested Sudanese companies or those with a relation to Spanish companies were invited.
